Reverse: Shield bearing the three lions passant guardant of Jersey, dividing the date 19–13. Inscription reads: STATES OF JERSEY · ONE TWENTY-FOURTH OF A SHILLING.

An attractive, high-grade example of this relatively uncommon date from a short-lived three-year type. This coin is from a low mintage of just 72,000 pieces.

The coin retains sharp, near-complete design details across the high points. The obverse features fidelity in MacKennal's portrait, with individual strands of the hair, beard, and crown jewels sharply defined, showing only the faintest trace of friction to the cheek and crown band. The fields are clean with minimal handling marks, complemented by an attractive, deeply original golden-brown and amber patina. The rims are notably sharp, crisp, and completely original, entirely free of the typical bag marks, knocks, or edge bumps that often plague bronze coins of this diameter. The reverse is striking, exhibiting exceptionally crisp definition on the manes and musculature of the three lions within the heraldic shield. A handsome, premium example with eye appeal to be appreciated.
